Something "fishy " about our room.. A boat that looks like a bus, sailing down the Danube river The dome of St Stephens Basillica Eating at the Menza, a really good resturaunt close to our hotel The snow falling in the courtyard of our hotel A really sobering place. The shoes at the edge of the river are made of bronze and are a monument to the many hundreds of Jews who were lined up and shot, only for their bodies to fall in the river and be washed away. during World war 2. At the time of our visit, it was freezing cold and the snow was falling. We were able to walk away with our thoughts.
